Representatives should Represent
This is fundamental but often overlooked with many of our current representatives. Unless you are a personal friend or represent some powerful special interest you remain out of the loop.
Accountability and Accessibility
My campaign and my representation will be neighborhood by neighborhood. Until our Representative knows who we are and the issues that affect us we cannot make headway. As long as a few cronies and entrenched special interests control the conversations it will be business as usual. I want to listen to the majority in the middle, not just the vocal few on the edges.
If you ask I will show up at your neighborhood meetings, and even at your HOA board meetings. If you need help I will be happy to offer my insight as a former Planning and Zoning Commissioner and HOA board member.
There are politicians in our cities and county who really want to improve our quality of life. Sometimes they lack the funds they need. Sometimes they lack the motivation. Sometimes they just need an ally in the State Government.
To enact change will take a real Representative. Someone who will listen and then take action. Someone who will work with all of the governments in our district and doesn't owe any special interest.
It's time to get down to work!

A New Representative with Real Conservative Values
I am running for State Representative in Georgia because we need someone who will listen to the issues of our region and get things done to improve the quality of life for our families - and part of that involves slowing spending growth at the State level.
If elected, all of my decisions will be made from the strong conservative principles of less government, more personal responsibility and what is best for the people in our district. You will always know where I stand. We may disagree from time to time, but I intend to earn your respect and confidence day by day as I make decisions based on my beliefs and knowledge of issues in our district. I’d certainly like to earn your vote, but I will not change my commitment to my values and principles in order to do so. And you can bet that I will be pro-active in championing and defending these values.
I’m not interested in a political career - I am, however, passionate that changes need to be made in the Georgia Legislature and I think you and I would agree that there needs to be a re-birth in the Republican Party. We are Conservatives! We believe in reducing the size of government, maintaining a strong national defense, being tough on crime, closing our borders, balancing budgets, the Second Amendment and that there are moral absolutes of right and wrong.
This is who I am and what I believe. If I am elected to represent the 98th House District I will return every phone call and answer every e-mail. And if you knock on my door at the Capitol, I’ll welcome you in.

Why I am in this race
As a business owner very involved in neighborhood issues I am tired of watching the same problems shuffled around the table without any real progress. Our area is consistently one of the fastest growing in the state and yet we cannot seem to make headway on issues like transportation, water use, state spending and school funding. And all the while spending increases faster than population growth.
For too many years we have not had anyone who will take enough interest to make a difference.
The way to make progress? Listen to the residents and then change legislation and use the influence of the State Legislature to assist local governments.
It wouldn't hurt to get back to basics in this state. We need safe neighborhoods, good schools, financial transparency and incentives for government agencies to save money and reduce waste. Local control over local resources. Pragmatic solutions to real concerns like transportation and water management. Economic growth. Creating real opportunity for our citizens.
Please take a moment and look around this website. Find out some of the ideas I have heard from people just like you and send me your own. If you send me an e-mail I will respond personally. My commitment is to keep you in the loop not just during the campaign but during my entire term as State Representative.
